About ORLOFF OF DENMARK

Orloff of Denmark is a family-owned artisanal jewelry company founded in 1994 by Orloff Ehrenskjöld.

Our passion for the highest quality, colorful gemstones inspires everything we do.

Each piece of jewelry is artfully designed and handmade in our  studio to enhance the rare gem’s natural beauty.
Orloff graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1994 with certifications as a gemologist and jewelry designer.

Before settling down at the workshop in Denmark, he launched his first design workshop in Phuket, Thailand. 

From his home base in Asia, Orloff was able to travel to gemstone mines around the world and forge industry connections along the way.

During these frequent mine tours, he experienced the beauty of tanzanite and tsavorite stones firsthand in Tanzania and Kenya.  Even in their raw form, straight from the earth, Orloff was mesmerized by the rich color and pure quality
of these rare gems.
