Basalt Storm is built around a 1.20 carat indigo blue sapphire, certified by LOTUS Gemology with an Indigo Blue colour distinction, a dusky, medium-deep blue with intense to rich saturation that earns its classification without question. Basalt related sapphires form in volcanic environments and are found across a handful of countries.

Origin often cannot be pinpointed with certainty. What can be determined is the quality of the stone, and this one is exceptional.

Set in 950 platinum with 62 round brilliant diamonds totalling 0.29 carats in VS2 clarity and D colour pavé set across the shoulders, the ring lets the stone lead without competition. No heat.
