The Eye of the Sea is a sculpture ring built around a 2.81 carat grey-blue Ceylon spinel from Sri Lanka, set horizontally in a wide 950 platinum bezel that frames the stone the way an eyelid frames an eye. The marquise shape was not chosen by accident.
From above, the ring stares back at you. No diamonds.
No additional stones. The platinum and the spinel are in complete agreement that nothing else is needed.
No heat. No treatment.
What you see is exactly what was found. The Eye of the Sea comes with a LOTUS Gemology certificate and is presented in an original Orloff of Denmark ring box.
