Diamond fluorescence
Fluorescence describes a diamond’s reaction to ultraviolet light. The report may record its strength; it should not be judged as a stand-alone quality score.
Consider appearance
Ask how the individual stone looks in different lighting conditions. A fluorescence label alone cannot tell you everything about its everyday appearance.
Compare the complete stone
Review color, clarity, proportions and images together with fluorescence information. Contact us if you want help interpreting a particular report.
